The business is a growing food retailer with ambitious plans for the future. They are looking for an ambitious and motivated Store Manager or Assistant Manager looking to step up to join the team. They want somebody who wants to grow a career and is focused towards developing the people around them in a customer focused and commercial environment. Our client is a food retailer who is looking for a highly commercial Store Manager from a retail background to join their growing business with an expanding footprint and a large range of products.
What does the role of Store Manager involve?
- You will ensure that your store is running smoothly and will be proactive in bringing about any necessary change to increase store profits.
- You will lead and motivate your team, improving them with training and development opportunities.
- As a people-focused food retail manager you will guide the departments in your store to provide consistent customer service and to drive operational focus.
- You will be responsible for engaging with the local community and organising exciting store events that will create opportunities for business development.
