Your experience
Within the retail sector, you will currently be leading an area or region across multiple stores within retail telecoms, fashion, furniture, homewares or the leisure sector from gyms, hotels or coffee shops with the main focus of driving sales through delivering a best in class customer focussed proposition
With responsibility for the leadership, success and development of your management team, you will demonstrate an inspirational leadership style ensuring that your team’s personal development is at the forefront of everything that you do.
You operate effectively in complex situations through engaging and inspiring those around you to follow and 'join' the journey
You will have a proven track record of delivering against a suite of KPI's at multi-site management level within customer focused retail environments.
Day to day
As an Area Manager, you will be accountable for driving customer satisfaction metrics, operational excellence and sales performance across your region.
You will be visible, available and delivering to the best of your ability in the stores across a broad geography. Time in the stores is essential to get under the skin of the operation and help them to deliver the best results possible
Leading from the front, you will be adept at winning over the hearts and minds of your people and engaging them in your vision for your region. You will set stretching metrics and will ensure your team are motivated to meet and exceed these expectations by delivering excellent service and capitalising on sales opportunities. Service that sells in its truest sense.
