What does the Central Operations Manager involve? 

Central Operations Manager. This role is in essence acting as a conduit for all communication and project delivery between head office and the stores and reports into the Operations Director directly.

·         You will manage and assume responsibility for the central operations and projects function of my client

·         You will closely with the Operations Director and you will be the lead on all major projects that impact on the stores and delivering a compliance led back of house culture.

·         You will be instrumental in devising and implementing processed and procedures required to meet the company needs whilst reviewing, evaluating and recommending improvements.

·         You will compile data and analyse on the performance of key measures to present to key stakeholders

·         You will manage the training, customer service and audit teams to your maximum capability

 

Do you have what they are looking for?

·         An ability to identify both short and long terms need of the business

·         A keen eye for costs and for driving profitability you may have been involved in procurement projects, cost saving initiatives and driving through efficiencies in your prior business and roles. Minimising costs and maximising benefit are your key focus and belief when looking at operations, processes and procedures.

·         You will ideally have a proven track record in operations management from a branded hospitality, leisure, retail or consumer / FMCG background

·         You will have a track record of project management and being a key member of a multi-functional project

·         You must have held a similar level of control previously, delivering your store results through a team of store managers reporting into you directly

·         You will be educated to degree level or equivalent

·         You will need strong coaching and development skills and a proven ability to drive results through your team
