Area Manager
Retail – Sales and Service
Up to £34k salary + car + uncapped bonus (Average £60K OTE) + package + all expenses paid
UK wide coverage. You must be willing to work across the UK, staying away when needed to
Your experience
You are engaging and great to work with while being a consummate professional and have a proven track record of creating fun working environments with positive cultures that have led to highly engaged and highly performing teams.
You are experienced at managing multi departments in a large single site and ready for your first step into an area management role or already currently be an area manager
You have high standards and an impeccable attention to detail supported by an organised and structured approach to everything that you do
You have experience of leading teams across differing geographies or departments of sales and service focused sales people to deliver exceptional customer service and deliver against sales targets and KPI’s
Within the retail sector, you will currently be leading multiple stores or multiple departments within a fashion, accessories, telecoms, storage, finance or furniture sector and delivering on a customer focused proposition
Day to day
As an Area Manager, you will be accountable for driving customer satisfaction metrics, operational excellence and sales performance across your region.
‘Fighting metaphorical fires’; unearthing the root cause of the problem; turning an area around; delivering plans with impact to alter the course of the business quickly – this is what you will be doing everyday and relishing the opportunity to do so
You will be leading a region and above all creating the right culture within your team. Demonstrating genuine care and passion for the happiness, well-being and engagement of your team
Daily site visits to be visible, support your teams and maintain branch standards across your area
With responsibility for the leadership, success and development of your management team, you will demonstrate an inspirational leadership style ensuring that your team receive clear direction and support through coaching and mentoring.
